DVDs
Once you've experienced watching a movie,
plus the tons of additional materials available, on DVDs there is no way you can
go back to watching clumsy old fashioned video tapes.
Rentals
 NetFlix
has the best mail order DVD
rental program available if you have
good mail service. We used it for about two years until the mail service
became so bad here in the Ozarks that we found it more efficient to just rent
them from the BlockBuster store in
Harrison.
Bonus Features
More and more DVDs include special bonus
features, called Easter Eggs, that you normally have to hunt for because they
aren't listed in the discs' menus. Rather than waste my valuable time
searching for them myself, I just go to
DVDEasterEggs.com and
see what other people have already found. I often print them out and put
them into the disc's case to help the next viewer.
